Indexed by collection, title, first line, composer-lyricist, and performer, the works are consistent in arrangement. Improvements over the previous edition include greater attention to the identification of multiple performers to each song and the provision of several sheet music distributors stocking the collections indexed. Still, though this second volume includes all-new source collections, the time period examined extends the coverage of the first volume by only four years.
